However, I retrieved an older reference driver (v1.1.9) directly from Silicon Image ( SL removed the driver for it during installation because it was "incompatible". +I've got a Sil3132-based Addonics eSATA controller ( Given the fact that Apple has said this is incompatible, I'm not sure I'm going to trust it, especially on one of the drives.įor those though that went ahead and did the update to their main boot drives and can't revert back, perhaps a way to access some of your data. ![]() Both my eSATA drives are now visible, with seemingly no ill effect at the moment. I've got an eSATA Expresscard 34 from Apiotek with uses Silicon Image driver, based on the post I found in another thread (See Below), I did reinstall the 1.1.9 driver from Silicon Image. ![]()
